COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Dalhousie is much more than an academic campus. Since 1810, we have been part of the vibrant Halifax community. We value both our position in, and contribution to, the greater community.
At Dalhousie, we recognize and appreciate our role as an involved community partner. For example - the Dalhousie University Commiunity Committee. It is an advisory group with a mandate to improve the relationship between the University and the wider community. Students, neighbours, the police, a landlord association, two city councillors, a business group - and many others - all contribute to the DUCC. It works collaboratively to make our community the very best it can possibly be.
